Our Standard Dump Truck Operator training course has been designed for those with an occupational requirement to be trained to safely undertake work activities that involve the operation of a Dump Truck.

The goal of this course is to help you understand what a dump truck operator responsibilities are and to help you understand how to manage those responsibilities to protect your health and safety and the health and safety of your co-workers.

This Dump Truck Operator course will also establish an understanding of the statutory requirements of the federal COHS, Provincial and Territorial OH&S legislations.

We will achieve this through discussion, by participating in skills practice and operator performance evaluation.

This course will provide the participant with the necessary knowledge regarding;

• Driver Qualifications and Licensing Requirements.
• Incident Reporting, Investigations and Disciplinary Process.
• Safe Vehicle Operation, Distracted Driving and Fatigue Management.
• Perform Pre-start Inspection and Maintenance Procedures.
• Start Up, Warm Up, and Shut Down a Dump Truck.
• Perform Basic Manoeuvres with a Dump Truck.
• Refuelling Considerations.
