This Snow Plow Operator training course has been designed for those with an occupational requirement to be trained to safely undertake work activities that involve the  operation of a Snow Plow.

The goal of this course is to help you understand what the operator responsibilities are and how to manage those responsibilities to protect your health and safety and your co-workers.

This Snow Plow Operator course will also establish an understanding of the statutory requirements of the federal COHS, Provincial and Territorial OH&S legislations.

We will achieve this through discussion and by participating in skills practice and operator performance evaluation.

This course will provide the participant with the necessary knowledge regarding;

• Driver Qualifications.
• Incident Reporting, Investigations and Disciplinary Process.
• Job Hazard Assessment and Hazard Handling Controls.
• Safe Vehicle Operation and Safe Driving Principles.
• Identify the Components, Controls and Safety Equipment.
• Start, Warm up, Shut Down and Refuelling Considerations.
• Perform Basic Manoeuvres with a Snow Plow.
