Our Street Sweeper Operator course has been developed for those with an occupational requirement to be trained to safely undertake work activities that involve the operation of a Street Sweeper.

The goal of this course is to help you understand what the responsibilities are and how to manage those responsibilities to protect your health and
safety and your co-workers.

This Street Sweeper Operator course will also establish an understanding of the statutory requirements of the federal COHS, Provincial and Territorial OH&S legislations.

We will achieve this through discussion and by participating in skills practice and operator performance evaluation.

This course will provide the participant with the necessary knowledge regarding;

• Driver Qualifications.
• Incident Reporting, Investigations and Disciplinary Process.
• Job Hazard Assessment and Hazard Handling Controls.
• Safe Vehicle Operation and Safe Driving Principles.
• Identify the Components, Controls and Safety Equipment.
• Start, Warm up, Shut Down and Refuelling Considerations.
• Perform Basic Manoeuvres with a Street Sweeper.
