Minimum First Aid Requirements in BC
The WorkSafeBC Intermediate First Aid (formerly OFA Level 2) course is a 14 hour program (2 day) and is designed to provide life-saving first aid skills for urban attendants in industry. Initial certification requires full participation and course attendance. Successful candidates must achieve 70% or higher on both practical and written exams. Certification is valid for three years.
Successful candidates under 19 years of age will be issued an age restriction certificate. Restricted ticket holders must work under the supervision of an unrestricted ticket holder.
